Until they moved into their current digs in 2006, Municipal Stadium in Cleveland served as the decades-long home of the Indians as well as the Browns. Though it may look politically incorrect, this great hand-painted sign, circa 1950s and measuring 31x21" depicts Chief Wahoo, still a mascot to this day. The diecut wood sign was obtained from a gentleman who got it right out of the stadium. Created by a local Cleveland signmaker artisan, it has remained the club's definitive image. There are a few holes from display and other scuffs and chips at the edges, but the vintage charm is only accentuated by those minor scars.
