Back in 1912, the George Frost Co. issued color or duotone baseball cards packed in a box of 12 garters for its Boston Garter company. During that time, this glass-and-metal display measuring 9.25x4.5" was seen on counters throughout New England. There is reverse painting in gold on the front, which reads: "Quality First Boston Garden Velvet Grip." The display is in EX condition but for one crack in the glass on the bottom and the back is open for easy access. A special relic indeed.
