Not only did American Pharoah become the first horse to capture the Triple Crown since 1978, the thoroughbred made history last year as the first to also win the Breeder's Cup Classic for the unprecedented Grand Slam of racing. Here's a one-of-a-kind item that "trumpets" Pharoah's amazing feat - the actual Trumpet used to call the champion to the Post at both the Preakness and Belmont Stakes. This wonderful instrument was played by "Sam the Bugler" Grossman, who has called some of the sport's most iconic horses to the post over his long career, with this possibly representing his most important race call ever. The trumpet is marked "Zigmant Kanstul," comes in its original case and is accompanied by a small, white, vinyl Belmont Stakes banner. Together they measure approximately 32.25" long. There are some light scuffs and scratches from handling, and a few light tarnished spots. Just the 12th Triple Crown winner ever, American Pharoah took the Breeder's Cup by six-and-a-half lengths, establishing a track record and putting a fitting capper on arguably the greatest year ever by a racehorse. This trumpet is a spectacular souvenir from that crowning achievement.
