One of the tougher rings of the era. This storied team shrugged off the taint of the 1919 "championship" and the suicide of Willard "Hershie" Hershberger to take the ultimate prize. Rarely if ever seen "player's ring" presented to pitcher Milt Shoffner. Big enough for you to wear size 10.5 prize in stunning 14 karat gold. Features fat, genuine diamond on the face and is engraved inside: "Presented by Baseball Commissioner to Milburn Shoffner." Brilliant "Cincinnati Reds World Champions" encircles the red stone on top, accented with blue enamel. Historically pure "1940" and "Reds" appear on both shanks. The ring is in beautiful condition, meriting a EX-MT grade.
