The first New York native to win the Kentucky Derby, Funny Cide cruised past the competition in the 2003 Run for the Roses and wore this fly sheet during his successful southern visit. The white sheet, appropriately adorned with dozens of roses along the trim, features the VISA Triple Crown logos on both sides, as well as the year, 2003. It shows use and came into contact with greatness as Funny Cide made history as the first Gelding to win the Derby since Clyde Van Dusen pulled off the feat in 1929. The champion thoroughbred went on to win the Preakness later that summer.
