In 1984 and 1985, there were actually three football teams that played at Giants Stadium: The Giants, Jets and Generals - the USFL team that was the only one to use New Jersey in its official team name. Their most famous player was Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker, whom the team signed, making a huge splash for the now-defunct league. Here's the former University of Georgia running back's Generals helmet, which is signed on the forehead in black, rating 8 out of 10. There's a #34 written on the interior in black marker, #34 decal on the reverse and some helmet scrapes and marks evident. The Generals made the playoffs n two of their three seasons, going 0-2 in the playoffs. The league - which played a summer schedule - folded in 1986 after having lost over $163 million.
