It was only a modest 16-game hitting streak when Joe DiMaggio began a doubleheader vs. the Cleveland Indians on June 1, 1941. This ticket from that Yankee Stadium twin bill is unused and in EX-MT condition. The letter, addressed to a Mr. Glenn Williams, references the ticket for "next Sunday's game" as it was sent to him by a merchandising manager at Westinghouse. The typed letter has creasing and folds. Ironically, DiMaggio's streak would come to an end in Cleveland the following month.
