These are the earliest gloves we have offered, they are in just beautiful condition. Hand-stitched in calf skin with cheesecloth inner. They are mostly soft and supple, but show nice aging from early ringside or Barbary Coast blood, sweat and tears. Feature a large thumb, no tears, and laces on the inside. Overall excellent and includes a copy of the National League Playing Rules for 1877 with an advertisement for similar gloves offered. There is one slight difference, those are three vertical lines from the top versus one-otherwise they line up perfectly. Approximately 6x9" each.
