On September 6, 1892, at the Olympic Club in New Orleans, the great African American World Featherweight Champion George Dixon met Jack Skelly for the Featherweight Title. This was part of a week of championship fights which culminated with the Sullivan-Corbett fight the next night. Dixon dominated and won the bout by KO in the 8th round. The color and printing is strong, and the back has some damage and has the imprinted rules of admittance. Very rare in any condition.
