Jack McAuliffe was born on March 24, 1866, in Ireland. He knocked out Billy Frazier on October 29, 1886, to win the Lightweight Championship of the World and the Lightweight Championship of America. He retired after fighting Georges Carpentier in an exhibition bout in October, 1920. On September 5, 1892, McAuliffe met Billy Myer for the Lightweight Title at the Olympic Club in New Orleans. McAuliffe won the bout with a KO in the 15th round. Presented here is an official full ticket to the bout. This full ticket measures 2.5 inches by 5 inches. Not creased or torn. Clean front, but does exhibit some back damage. Also has some edge and corner wear including a chip in lower left corner. Very rare in any condition.
