This stunning, hammered copper plaque sports the great Brad Park moving with quiet fury on the ice. Signed by the artist Verol, this was commissioned by the Dale Carnegie Foundation and recently discovered in the Pittsburgh area. The piece itself is 37" x 25" and slightly larger with original framing. The work is hand-hammered in copper and creatively embossed rather than incised. It reads: "Brad Park For His Outstanding Contribution to the Greater Boston Community...Presented By The Dale Carnegie Courses 1979." Based on the quality, this likely cost thousands of dollars at the time to commission. A wonderful piece of sports art!
