One of modern baseball's true superstars - Ken Griffey, Jr. - graced the Kingdome in this resplendent home jersey during the building's final season of 1999. It features a Russell Size 46 and "1999" year tag on the front tail, as well as a 100% polyester and 2-inch extra length tags. It is all original with Junior's name on the back. Also included in this lot are a blue Nike undershirt Size XL and Russell pant size 36 with "H-Cut" and minus 2-inch waist-"24-GRIFFEY--34/38-34-99" strip tag sewn in the waist band. The uniform shows moderate use. Griffey - who blasted a home run in his first career Kingdome at-bat 10 years earlier - hit the last round-tripper (appropriately enough) in the Dome's history. The 13-time All-Star and 10-time Gold Glover crushed 630 home runs and is a shoo-in for the Hall of fame when he becomes eligible next season.
