Resplendent 10k gold football-shaped watch fob was presented to Kingsley Childs for his contribution to the team. Our scant initial research was unable to find him but interestingly the name is traditionally African-American which is a rarity in the NFL of this era. His name is proudly engraved on this precious piece which was given to players in lieu of today's gaudy rings. The wording on the fob reads: "1941 WORLD CHAMPIONS" enameled on a scrolled banner with a beautiful bear logo in the center. "CHICAGO BEARS" is enameled on a small banner at the bottom. It is in NM-MT Condition and is a rare and wonderful American sports artifact as few were given out and fewer remain. Under the direction of Papa Bear George Halas, the 1941 Chicago Bears coasted to a 10-1 record and their second consecutive NFL championship.
