His name graces the field on which the Green Bay Packers have played football since 1957. Curly Lambeau was the founder of the NFL franchise, as well as a player and the team's first-ever coach, leading the Pack to six NFL titles. This 1946 book, "The Green Bay Packers" by Arch Ward, features an exceptional fountain-signed photo of Lambeau on the interior, and it is hard to imagine a finer signed example exists as it grades a strong 9 out of 10 and is unimprovable. The book is EX condition with a fair dust jacket. The photo could be easily removed and framed. Curly Lambeau played his college football under the legendary Knute Rockne at Notre Dame before working at the Indian Packing Company. In 1919, that organization put up $500 for uniforms and were awarded the franchise that would come to be known as the Green Bay Packers.
