Next to his Hall of Fame induction in 1989, Red Schoendienst received countless honors. Among the most prestigious was having been named to the Baseball Writers Association of America St. Louis All-Time All-Star Team in 1958. This plaque, measuring 9.5" x 14.5", reads: "50TH ANNIVERSARY ST. LOUIS ALL-TIME ALL-STAR TEAM JAN. 20, 1958 RED SCHOENDIENST IF" and then a list of honorees: "GEORGE SISLER 1B, ROGERS HORNSBY 2B, MARTY MARION SS, FRANK FRISCH 3B, KEN WILLIAMS LF, TERRY MOORE CF, STAN MUSIAL RF, BOB O'FARRELL C, HANK SEVEREID C, GROVER ALEXANDER P, URBAN SHOCKER P, JESSE HAINES P, DIZZY DEAN P, JOHNNY TOBIN OF." The money clip is made of Sterling Silver and manufactured by Hayward. It reads: "ST. LOUIS ALL-TIME ALL-STAR TEAM RED SCHOENDIENST BUSCH STADIUM 8-19-58" with all the other players' surnames also engraved. Both are in EX condition.
