The first and only horse of Todd Pletcher's certain Hall of Fame training career ever to win the Kentucky Derby, Super Saver won the "Run for the Roses" in 2010, and this is the very halter the thoroughbred wore during his two minutes of glory. The leather harness with brass fittings features a brass name plate displaying "SUPER SAVER" and is a magnificent collectible. Super Saver also won the Grade 2 Kentucky jockey Club as a two-year-old, breaking the stakes record in the process. The son of Maria's Mon retired to stud with career earnings in excess of $1.8 million. Super Saver's ancestors include damsire A.P. Indy, Bold Ruler and Triple Crown winners Secretariat (1973) and Seattle Slew (1977). Comes with an LOA from Richard Budge, the farm trainer.
