All-Star infielder Rico Petrocelli played his entire career with the Boston Red Sox between 1963 and 1976, and the Brooklyn native pulled this flannel jersey over his head in 1972 - the last season before the club switched to knits. All original and in very nice, clean condition, the top features "Red Sox" sewn on the front in red-on-blue felt while the back displays his familiar number 6 in the same red-on-blue felt. There are two tags: "McAuliffe size 42" and "1972" on the front tail. Petrocelli collected 15 homers and 75 RBI while playing stellar third base for the '72 Sawx.
