Spalding produced this store-model version of Joe Jackson's treasured bat. The two-tone finish is dark hickory fading to black. There are deep stampings and two knob chips. There are no decal remnants, but there are nails in the bat bottom, which were probably inserted to add weight. The original "Black Betsy" was created in 1903 and given to the slugger when he was 15 years old. He held onto it until his death 36 years later.
