Hall of Famer Roy Campanella was an eight-time all-star catcher during his 10-year carer with the Dodgers. In 1957, however, his career was cut short after becoming paralyzed in a 1958 car accident. The items in this lot were signed by the Campy after his misfortune through the aid of a special device. Included are a 22" x 28" framed composite, signed in pencil by both Campanella (8/10) and the artist. There is also a replica Dodgers home jersey with number 39 on the front and back. The signature is in blue ink (8/10) under the number on the front. There's also a Hillerich & Bradsby Campanella bat that is signed on the barrel in black ink (9/10).
