This post card contains an autograph by Hall of Fame center fielder Tris Speaker. The front of the 3x5" index card has a black and white photo of Speaker in the top right corner, not in uniform, but in front of an NBC microphone. On the back is written in pencil a list of teams and years in which Speaker played (someone has written the "L" as in "AL" in ink at the end of each line), and on the bottom is written "D: 12/8/58" which is the date of the Cleveland Indians' star's passing.
