Part of a set, this creamer depicting Forbes Field in "Pittsburg" is very nice with no cracks and only a minute chip on the bottom edge. Some of the gold leaf has worn off but the image is great. The wording below the illustration reads: "FORBES FIELD CHAMPION PIRATES BASEBALL PARK, PITTSBURG, PA. The condition is EX overall. Forbes Field was a fixture from 1909 to 1971 in Western Pennsylvania, and served as home to both the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. The fact that the "H" was left off the spelling of the city indicates the item may have originated in one of the first three years of the ballpark (1909-11) since those were the last three years of the city's official removal of the letter (1891-1911).
