Hall of Fame left-hander Steve Carlton was known more for his pitching prowess, but playing in the National League meant he was called upon to bat every fifth day. This was one that he used: an uncracked Louisville Slugger model P89 with Carlton's name in block letters on the barrel. The Number 32 is written in black marker on the knob. The bat shows moderate use with bat rack marks (red and black) and light pine tar on the handle. The barrel also shows some ball marks. Carlton won four Cy young awards and was the ace of the 1990 World Series champion Phillies' staff.
