Heralded as "The Fabulous Beatles", the group makes their first of four appearances at Liverpool's Merseyside Civil Service Club. This was one of three gigs for the Beatles on this date as they had already played a Cavern lunchtime session, and would return there for a late night session after this gig. Little did they know that an introduction to local record shop owner, Brian Epstein, two days later at the Cavern would eventually lead them to unparalled, worldwide fame within two years. This same ticket is pictured on page 48 of Mark Lewisoh's "The Complete Beatles Chronicle"! As the entire Sluchansky collection was made available to Lewisohn during his research. 4 1/2" x 3".
