This San Francisco Giants home flannel uniform was worn by outfielder Bobby Bonds. The jersey dates from 1972 and has “Giants” written across the front and Bonds' #25 on the back. A Wilson size 42 tag on the left front tail has "72" embroidered underneath it. Although 1972 was the first year the Giants used knit uniform jerseys, this flannel was prepared for the 1971 playoffs and used during the first month or so of the 1972 season before the team changed over to the knit uniforms. The uniform pants are from 1971and have Bonds' name and "1971" sewn into the back below the waistband. Wilson tag in front waistband next to button fly with "25" written in marker.
