An amazing Brooklyn Dodger duo, a beautifully aged mitt and gloriously ravaged jersey from catcher Bruce Edwards' 1947 All-Star year. Jersey is scuffed, dirtied and all-around worn, though its condition could be better minus the moth (and possibly mouse) holes throughout. Collar includes four tags: a “Rawlings,” a size 42, a “Dry Clean Only” and an "Edwards" name plate. All original, with felt "Dodgers" on the front and "10" on the back. Mitt is a Rawlings "Bruce Edwards" signature model with his number "10" stamped on twice and written with black marker on once. With the exception of one half dollar size hole on the bottom heel, this is a very fine item. Comes with a photo card of Edwards wearing a similar mitt. LOA from an Edwards’ family member.
