It's been disputed that Gene Tunney, belted hard by comeback Jack Dempsey, was down longer than 10 seconds when he rose and defeated the beleaguered legend on that September 1926 night. The infamous "Long Count" fight comes to stunning life at the ring of this ringside bell. The bell is in working order and its tone is shockingly clear. Mounted on either side of the bell are portraits of the two fighters on rough hewn log rounds (Dempsey on the left and Tunney on the right). The bell is in EX condition and still conjures up images of the epic fight in Philadelphia, a fight still talked about and disputed to this day. A truly historic piece.
