Absolutely magnificent watercolor is a mystical interpretation of Ebbets Field and its fans during the 1940s. Spectacular imagery of the raucous crowd is done as a simplistic yet engaging tribute. Obviously a work of quality, it has been looked at by two art experts who thought it was smashing. Even the outfield wall advertising is there, A.C. Delco Batteries and Gillette Razor Blades (closer to Yankees than Dodgers but who cares, it’s art!). Artist has written in pencil at bottom right border as a title, “Ebbets Field.” Unsigned but a major work of Dodger proportions. 9x11", watercolor on artist’s board. Slight water damage to right edge is mostly invisible, E+-EX-MT.
