This spectacular Lombardi Trophy was presented to exclusively to players, front office employeees, and a select number of VIP's by the St. Louis Rams after their thrilling 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV, which ended when the Rams' Mike Jones tackled Titan receiver Kevin Dyson at the 1-yard-line as time ran out. Long remembered as well will be Kurt Warner's MVP performance -- 414 yards passing and 2 TDs. Like the full-sized trophy given to team owner Georgie Frontiere after that January 30, 2000 game at the (appropriately enough) Georgia Dome, the trophy is made entirely of silver metal and depicts a football atop an elongated plinth with three tapered, concave sides. Measures 17" high from base to top of football, 5" across each of the three sides at the bottom of the base, 4" across the triangular bottom from the front to the back tip. Football piece stretches 9" wide. Front of the trophy has the NFL logo and is engraved "Vince Lombardi Trophy," "Super Bowl XXXIV Champions," and "The St. Louis Rams." Bottom of one shank is engraved "332 of 400." Sticker on bottom of piece reads "R.S. Owens, Chicago, Illinois." Accompanying the glittering trophy is a 4 1/2 x 6" card in the original envelope that reads: "To you who helped make it happen, our warmest regards. The enclosed replica Lombardi Trophy is a numbered, limited edition piece that we trust you will display proudly. With much appreciation for your support. Sincerely, Georgia Frontiere, Stan Kroenke and the St. Louis Rams." Condition of the trophy is impeccable -- NRMT with no flaws that can't be removed with a good polish. Comes mounted in a deep cushion interior of the original presentation box (VG) which is purple with a gold rendering of the Rams' logo on the top of the box.
