Excellent grouping of mostly 19th century Napoleon related ephemera.
This collection is topped with an artifact of Napoleon and his staff while
in exile at St. Helena and consists of a copper plate engraving of the
Emperor on his rearing mount, signed J. Stewart, Sculpt. It is surrounded
by a red ribbon and mounted on a large piece of printed paper. VG

An original copy of the Parisian Daily "Le Monteur Universel" dated 12 April 1814 announcing Napoleon's first abdication. EX. Original copy of The Times in London dated October 22, 1812 featuring Napoleon in a burning Moscow. EX. We close this grouping with an original invitation to the funeral of the Duke of Wellington at St. Paul's Cathedral and bears the stamp of Earl Marshall. EX.
