Joe DiMaggio attended the 1976 Old Timers Day at Shea Stadium, and was presented with this unique award. Mounted on a 18" x 14" x 11 1/2"H 8-sided solid wood base are a Mets baseball cap in textured bronze, an official National League baseball with Charles S. Feeney faux signature, within a cylindrical display with interior lighting, and a clock set in a wooden stand topped by a small figure of a ballplayer in bronzed metal. A small brass plaque commemorates the event, and is inscribed "Joe DiMaggio / Old Timer's Day / Shea Stadium / July 17, 1976". The award has well-established provenance, and was originally part of the DiMaggio estate. The metal figure atop the clock has been repaired where it meets its base, but condition otherwise is EX-MT.
