Jack Dempsey was knocked out only once in his entire career. That loss occurred on Feb. 13, 1917, in Murray, Utah to Fireman Jim Flynn, a veteran heavyweight who had twice fought for the title. Rumors have persisted for over 80 years that this fight was not on the level. Great scrapbook filled with articles and items pertaining to the life of Ray Marshall who trained with Jim Flynn. Marshall also fought (exhibition) the legendary Jack Johnson. Five Marshall signatures contained within, including a signed photo. EX-MT.
