There are quite a few signed Ruth photos out there but have you seen one autographed that is 16 x 20"? That's right, you haven't. In the past twenty years you can count the number of oversized Babe Ruth signed photos that we have seen on one hand. This may be the best one we've ever come across. It is a true all time great, just like Ruth. Black and white and very clear image, it shows Babe in the batters box gazing skyward after slapping one out of the park. We believe the image to be from 1932. Mounted on board, it has one crease that runs two thirds of the way through the center. Otherwise, photo is EX+. The crease does not show at a distance, only upon closer inspection. The signature, in fountain ink, is an 8 out of 10, and reads "To My Good Old Pal Johnny Dell From Babe Ruth 1947." Dell was a former baseball player and friend of the Babe. The photo has remained in the Dell family until December of 2005. This is one of the best of all Babe Ruth signed photos.
