Lot Description  

Great wartime piece from 1942 is an advertising card for an upcoming boxing extravaganza at the Oakland Auditorium. In addition to the bouts listed on the card there is a photo of Buddy Baer with a comics balloon that says, "Nuts to you and Hitler I'll flatten both of you". Ad is made of light cardboard and measures 9 x 7". Straddles the line of boxing and the Anti-Axis feelings in America in 1942. Overall EX-MT.
