Many Beatles fans never forgave Yoko Ono for “breaking up” the Beatles. While he never reached the heights attained while with the Beatles, it’s a tribute to the man’s talents that he still continued to put out such high quality material. Yoko’s influence on his music was to make him head back to his roots of idealistic love songs, mostly adoringly directed at his darling Yoko. “(Just Like) Starting Over” was a single taken from his “Double Fantasy” album. The B-side of the single was Yoko Ono’s “Kiss Kiss Kiss.” This framed gold record presentation 12-7/ x 16-7/8” was given to Lennon in honor of the success of the single and it is in NRMT condition. At the center is the now extinct 45 RPM single in beautiful gold with the Geffen label at the center. Below it a plaque that reads “Presented to John Ono Lennon to Commemorate the Sale of More Than One Million Copies of the Geffen Records Single Record “(Just Like) Starting Over.” “John Ono Lennon” is a name that we haven’t seen before and it will be just fine if we don’t see it again.
