George S. Woodruff was a photographer of some renown and working out of his Oakdale Road studio in Newton Highlands gave him the opportunity to shoot lots of photographs at Fenway in the middle part of the 20th Century, not only of players but also of front office personnel. This lot of negatives includes familiar names such as Hall of Famer Lou Boudreau who was w/Sox as a player ‘51-’52 and as a manager ‘52-’54, Del Wilber (Sox ‘52-’54) and others. Many of these negatives are of the MLBers working out at Fenway w/Little Leaguers. A truly unique and precious item of great historical value.
