Signed at the Canterbury Tournament in Ohio on the occasion of Jack “Golden Bear” Nicklaus winning his 14th major title and eclipsing the record of Bobby Jones which had stood for 43 years. This section of poster board was signed by the golfers as they entered the clubhouse at Canterbury. The tournament was won by Nicklaus with a score of 277 and he signed with his score in the upper left hand corner. Signed by an incredible 120 golfers in NRMT black ink: Jack Nicklaus (2), Juan “Chi Chi” Rodriguez, Lee Trevino, Tom Watson, Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer, Raymond Floyd, Johhny Miller, Hale Irwin, Byron Nelson and so many others. A most incredible piece of golf history.
