Used by the greatest defenseman to ever play hockey, this 1969-70 Victoriaville Pro stick is fantastic. This is the model Bobby Orr used throughout the season that finished with his famous “Flying Goal.” The blade is taped with just a few wraps in Bobby’s signature style. The stick is also taped in aged white wrap running approximately 6 inches down the handle. Factory stamped “ORR” with no cracks or damage. The celluloid accent taping is in blue stripes and provides dating to this stick (beginning in 1970-71 the accent was in the Bruins’ team colors). Orr’s number “4” is written on the stick in black marker. 1969 marked Orr’s switch from Northland to Victoriaville. The stick shows great use; the blade is slightly chipped at the edges and the accent taping is partially worn off. A fantastic example used by a true hockey legend.
