This awesome signed photo of the Babe was owned for decades by his younger sister, Mary Ruth Moberly. It portrays the Babe swinging his bat, with a near-perfect signature on his pinstriped Yankee shirt. The delightful piece of Ruthiana only came to the surface because of an obsession of a Ruth collector in Virginia, Jack Marcus, to track down the whereabouts of Moberly. After finally locating her in Lakeland, Florida in 1982, she sent him the signed photo. Included here is a vintage wire photo of Ruth and Mary and Marcus' album of correspondences documenting his search, and letters exchanged with Moberly.
