Two ornate photo albums are titled, "Our National Game" and date from 1887. The larger of the two is beige in color and has a gold colored diamond on the front with an early baseball scene showing players watching the flight of a fly ball. It measures approximately 12" X 15". Inside there are a handful of handsome baseball prints with titles like "Wild Pitch", "Caught Between Bases" and "Fly Ball" which show 19th Century baseball at it's best. This beautiful album also has many pieces of colorful stationary glued in on the pages including holiday cards and cards featuring flowers, kittens and fruit. The second album is approximately 11" X 14" and has a dark green cover with the same design. There are no cards in this album but the original paper and the 19th Century baseball scenes are present. Overall condition of these great albums is EX.
