Lithograph from 1873, is amongst the earliest documentations of baseball fashions for children. Two children in the foreground hold ball and bat as if a game is planned. In 1863, Ebenezer Butterick created the first sewing pattern and changed the face of fashion forever. By 1873, the company was already world renowned, and one of the biggest influences on U.S. fashion of the time. This lithograph is entitled "E. Butterick & Co. Semi-Annual Report of New York Fashions" and measures 19x23.5" Condition is EX, there is a library stamp on the border.
