Gorgeous Brooklyn Dodger letterhead sports images of Ebbets Field and marvelous crossed bats logo. Dated March 2, 1930, it is written to the owner of a company that manufactures a brand of athletic liniment. The Hall of Fame catcher for the hard-nosed Baltimore Orioles of the 1890s who later rose to prominence as the manager of the Daffiness Boys has written, “My trainer is using it daily on the players and I will be able to tell you how it works on ball players later.” It is signed in full “Wilbert Robinson” in dark and clean pencil. Three binder holes on side, envelope folded and “Filed” stamp o/w EX-MT.
