1914 Miracle Braves World Championship ring emanates from the Barry Halper collection, and once belonged to Hall of Fame shortstop, Rabbit Maranville. The ring commemorates the World Champion Braves with stone at center which has yellowed from 9 decades of oxidation and light exposure. Surrounded by raised text, "1914 Worlds Champions." Obtained directly from Maranville's great nephew, Thomas Stapleton and was part of the Halper collection for years. Comes with Halper's LOA which states that at the time that Barry received the ring, Mr. Stapleton said to him, "This 1914 World Series ring was presented to my great uncle Walter Rabbit Maranville while playing for the Boston Braves." Tag from the original sale still attached to the ring. Also comes with printed statement from Mr. Stapleton.
