Special collection begun pre-assassination: 1) Silver & bronze Apollo 11 medals in their original box commemorate the moon landing. One side, are the heads of Armstrong, Aldrin & Collins and the other JFK, who helped get them there. Medals 2.5”, box 7.5x4.5”. Numbered 156/500. 2) 1961 Waterman’s Inauguration mechanical pencil in original box reads “John F. Kennedy Jan. 20, 1961” in blue. Given only to VIP’s by JFK this is a perfect representation of his Ask Not/Torch Is Passed speech. 3) Mint gold coin from Holland with the face of “John F. Kennedy 1963 - A Noble Servant of Peace.” By Begeer (Holland), 1.25” in original sleeve. 4) “Delegate 1960” paperweight in Lucite (2.5”) with PT-109 and “Kennedy 60” across its bow. 5) “Memorial of John F. Kennedy 1964” proof coin (1.5”) for “5 Rupees of Sharjah.” Beautiful maroon leather box w/head of JFK “In Memoriam. 6) 2.5” silver coin with “Kennedy 22 XI 1963” and “Pro Prosperitate Mundi Argenteus.” 7) Silver Inaugural Medal (3”) from the Medallic Art Co. in .999 silver and in original box with paperwork. 8) 1971 Opening of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Dedicatory Bronze Medal (2.5”) from Medallic Art in original box. Medals and coins are all mint. Boxes are overall EX.
