The most prominent portrait photographer of the 20th century, captures the spirit of Einstein, arguably, the most important subject Karsh ever photographed. Karsh came to international fame with a 1941 Life cover, the "English bulldog" portrait of Winston Churchill. He then pictured from every field, world-wide political arena, the arts and sciences during his lifetime.
