From the personal collection of Mickey Mantle's family with LOA. What a gathering of talent! Photo taken at Yankee Stadium in the heart of their Bronx Bomber greatness. Some of the best players of baseball’s golden age are here: Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Billy Martin, Phil Rizzuto, Gil McDougal, Hank Bauer, Gene Woodling, Moose Skowron, Bobby Brown, Ralph Houk, Ed Lopat, Johnny Sain, Allie Reynolds, Ralph Branca, Jim Konstanty, Tommy Byrne, Bill Dickey, and Casey Stengel. Archivally mounted on white rag matte, the photo is EX-MT with only some very minor creasing in the border and picture perfect contrast. This panorama was given only to players and a select group of VIP’s hence they are incredibly rare (we have only seen two specimens ever, this being the second). Besides, the Yankee organization did not do large (and expensive) panoramas like these every year during this era, only for a couple of years.
