Set of autographs were obtained on April 17, 1964 at the Les Ambassadeurs in London, while the Beatles were shooting the "discotheque" sequence for “Hard Day’s Night.” During the day, The Beatles managed to squeeze in an interview with Ed Sullivan, in the Les Ambassadeurs club’s garden. Large menu boasts all four signatures in black ballpoint on the back of the menu, with inscription written by John Lennon, (most autograph sets are inscripted by Paul) “Best wishes from the Beatles.” Also autographed by Jimmy Saville, the British pop DJ under the signatures of the Beatles. Signatures are EX-MT and large (1.5" to 2” high). Comes with a LOA from the boy who got the autographs. In the letter he says, “They were very kind and humourous.” Front of the menu has some food stains but the back and the autographs are clean.
