The two-time batting champion was one of the greatest hitters for average in the history of the game, batting .432 in 1897. Shown here wearing his native Brooklyn uniform, he is labeled underneath, “William H. Keeler, Right Fielder, Brooklyn, 1899.” Signature is “P.W. Fostello.” Some water stains on the right border and lower right corner do not affect the lithograph and do not detract from its overall impressive appearance. Evenly toned to a cream color. In its original wooden frame. Excellent.
