Awesome set of 3 game used jerseys from the Pittsburgh Pirates of the late 1970's to early 1980's. All are pullover style. The first is Harvey Haddix's autographed home white gamer, worn while he was a pitching coach for the Pirates in 1980. "Pirates" across the chest in slightly arched black on yellow lettering with his number "57" below. To the left of his number on the front is his black sharpie signature. Verso is his number "57" large. "57 80" embroidered in black thread on tag on front tail. Inside front tail is the "Rawlings [size] 42" tag with "set 1 1980" flag tag. Looks as though this one definitely got in the dirt. Outstanding use with great wear to the numbers and letters and plenty of stadium dirt stained onto the front and the back from sliding. The second, Dale Berra’s game worn black alternate jersey is one of several color schemes used by the Pirates during this time. “Pirates 4” across the front in yellow tackle twill. Back is his number “4”. Front tail tagging is “Descente” with “100% nylon” and care tag to the right and “4 42 82” embroidered in yellow thread on plate below. Excellent use and wear. Last is a yellow and black striped alternate white jersey, worn by player Joe Lonnett. “Pirates 32” across the front and “32” on verso. Tagging on front tail is “Descente” with faded and torn “made in Japan” tag to its right and “32 44 79” embroidered in black thread on plate below. Nice use and wear.
