This unscored card (9.5x11”) in excellent condition boasts the line-ups for the Negro League Champion Kansas City Monarchs, Philadelphia Stars, Washington Homestead Grays & the Birmingham Black Barons. The Monarchs line-up included some of the greatest players in the history of professional baseball. Includes superstar Jackie Robinson, who got his professional start filling in at the shortstop position for the war-depleted Monarchs team. It was there that Jackie would be discovered by Branch Rickey, who signed him to the Brooklyn Dodgers the following year. Also listed are Satchel Paige, J. Williams, & H. Smith. The Homestead Grays line-up includes Bell, Leonard & Josh Gibson.
