Conservatively graded NM-MT 8 by PSA this exquisite example of Tinker is nearly flawless to the naked eye. The front exhibits a clear, crisp image that is filled with rich color, accentuated by well-balanced borders and four pristine corners. On the reverse, a brilliant red advertisement for Sweet Caporal Cigarettes stands out starkly against a lily-white background. A shining specimen, more deserving of a Mint grading, from the man forever immortalized in the Franklin P. Adams verse “Baseball’s Sad Lexicon” better known as “Tinker to Evers to Chance”.
